How It Works:
Customers text into ChaCha via their mobile phones at 242242 to ask various questions. Questions are then routed to online guides throughout the US who answer them when logged into the ChaCha system through their home computers.
Pay is per question that you answer and training is provided online, for free. There are no fees at all associated with this service, for either you as a guide or the customer. ChaCha makes it money by sending an ad to customers, right before they get their answer. Some of ChaCha’s clients include Paramount Pictures, McDonald’s, Palm, Coca-Cola, AT&T, J&J, P&G, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and The CW Network. New brands, such as NBC Universal, have chosen ChaCha’s unique SMS text-based conversation as a way to introduce their products.
Traffic to ChaCha.com hit a record high of 18.5 million monthly unique users in October, making it the fastest growing among Quantcast’s top 100 websites. Earnings:
Guides can earn a set amount per task completed, with no limits. Expeditors earn $0.02 cents per completed question (most questions can be answered in under 20 seconds). Generalists & Specialists earn between $0.10 to $0.20 per completed question, based on the category of the question (most questions can be answered in under 2 minutes). Notable busy times are afternoons after 4:30, evenings, holidays and weekends, but ChaCha is open 24/7, so you can work anytime, for as long as you like.
Whether you choose to work ChaCha as a part-time or full-time job, you can make money without having to pay for gas, daycare or any other expenses associated with having a job outside the home.
ChaCha also runs various contests to help boost your earnings and turbo charge your pay.

As part of the world’s most unique Rapid Response team, Expeditors answer questions, real-time, for people on the go. With over 1 million questions coming in each day, you cover a lot of territory … and get to connect with people all across the U.S., sending answers directly to their mobile phones!
Be ready to dish out advice on love & relationships, or tips on which movies to see. Whether ChaCha customers need a phone number they left back at the house, a fact to settle a bet, or a quick joke to lighten their day, you've got menus of great stuff to choose from. The pace is quick and the questions are always lively!
Requires: Friendly attitude, desire to help people, and a sense of humor. Fast typing and quick thinking are a definite plus!

Generalist/Specialist - (My Personal Favorite)
Generalists are the ChaCha version of the know-it-all, the renaissance man/woman, or the resourceful friend everyone calls. You are able to comprehend, research, and answer any question thrown at you, regardless of subject matter.
Though you possess many of the same attributes as a Specialist, you enjoy the thrill of the unexpected, and possess the Internet search skills to make you seem like an expert even when you’re not. You are resourceful with a capital “R” and enjoy helping customers while continually learning new things.
Requires: Exceptional Internet search skills, strong general knowledge, good grammar and spelling, fast typing, strong reasoning ability, and sound judgment.

Q: Does ChaCha cost me anything?
Nope. ChaCha considers you a contracted employee. They do not charge you anything to join, train or work for them at all, ever.
Q. Is ChaCha a scam?
No. ChaCha is indeed a real company that pays you to answer customer questions. Feel free to look them up. Q. Is a W-9 necessary?
Yes. When you apply for a real job, anywhere, they ask for this info. ChaCha is no different.
Q: When can I work?
Anytime. You can choose to work for 5 minutes a day or work 24 hours a day. Thery're always open.
Q: What if I join, take training and fail my readiness test?
Simple. You can write to ChaCha and ask to train for another Guide role. If one is available, they'll let you know.
Q: If I sign up does that mean I am hired?
No. When you sign up, you are applying to be hired, just like any other job. You must complete training and pass the readiness test to work for ChaCha.
Q: How do I get paid?
ChaCha has two payment methods. (I personally use the Pay Me Now)
1st One: Pay Per Month or PPM. With PPM you must have $150.00 in earnings by the 15th of the month to have your funds direct deposited in your bank account. If your patient and like to save, this may be fine for you.
2nd One: Pay Me Now or PMN. With PMN you decide when you want to get paid. ChaCha will send you a debit card and you transfer funds when you want to, with no minimums. You can use your card just like a regular bank ATM card.
