A Better Search Engine is here! Duck Duck Go
Google is the most popular search engine around these days, everyone does it. I, myself have claimed to be a Google Guru a time or two, but I'll be the one to say it out loud, it's become a hassle. There's nothing like starting a search for one thing and becoming overwhelmingly distracted sifting through results. In the end I've forgotten what I was looking for to begin with.
How about something better, a little more privacy and a little less clutter?
In comes DuckDuckGo which is a general purpose search engine like Google, Yahoo or Bing. I first heard about this from my father, who likes to dabble in new, interesting sites & applications he comes across. What sold him? They don't track you. Honestly, they don't collect or share ANY of your information with anyone. Another bonus for you, less spam - they ban useless sites filled with nothing but advertising. I myself have come across the never-ending pop-up pages promising to make my computer faster, help regain my youth & introduce me to the perfect work at home opportunity (not necessarily in that order, but I have had it happen at once, lol) .
After trying it out for a few days, I find Duck Duck Go is direct in the search approach. I've noticed it takes less time to find what I need, which means more time to post goodies for you.
Try Duck Duck Go for yourself. I'm telling you now, it may just be the hot search engine for 2011

My goodness...what a busy 2 days I've had!
I was thinking about moving to another blog site...can you say bad idea :) Things just wouldn't go my way and frankly, I like simplicity. Anyhoo, I decided to stay right here and practice my blog editing s
After many sleepless hours and down right being silly, I decided to take the plunge and change the template. I think I have things looking functionally better. I really want to add more features, but my fingers need a break.
Check out the page tabs up top (ok, so they aren't tabs just yet), I've updated a few of the pages and added one called "Daily Deals". You can find all the "Groupon" like sites that post hot sales and special pricing with new items changing every day. My Fav!!!!!!
